Excursions |
| |
| |
|
|
|
| We have some lovely excursions
in store for you! The highlight of the holiday is undoubtedly
our visit to the magical Eden project. This incredible
project was designed for the new millennium and is the
largest 'glasshouse' in the world, filled with exotic
plants from foreign lands. Inside you will experience
the wonderful sights and smells of the Tropics and the
Mediterranean. There is a special land train to take us
down to the 'biomes'. We shall also spend some time exploring
the beautiful Cornish coastline and countryside with its
little villages and fishing ports, sampling the local
scrumpy cider, and stopping for relaxing light lunches
at traditional Cornish Innes and tearooms. |

sea air, relax in the hotel lounge with its stunning sea
views, or take a dip in the hotel swimming pool. The coach
is also on hand, if required, to take you down to the
local town of Newquay. All excursions, entrance fees and
lunches are included in the cost of your holiday, including
lunch at a traditional Devonshire Inn on our journey home. |

Accessibility |
| |
| |
|
|
The main entrance
to the Esplanade Hotal has seven wide steps with a handrail
on both sides. There is also a side entrance with no
steps. There is a level road outside the hotel overlooking
the sea, with other hotels along the seafront and a
post office and general shop behind the hotel. The nearest
town, Newquay, is not within easy walking distance,
but the coach is available on free mornings and afternoons
to take you into the town if required. More
on Accessibility
Please note that the Eden Project will
not be suitable for all of our customers, as it is a
large site and there is a certain amount of unavoidable
walking involved in the visit. Please ring us on the
free-phone number below, if you would like more details
and would like to discuss how suitable the excursion
would be for you.
