The Frognell Hall in Torquay is a beautifully converted
nineteenth century villa, delightfully situated in a
quiet corner of the town overlooking the bay. It offers
a friendly welcome and old-fashioned service: on arrival
you are welcomed by the owners and in the restaurant
you will find 'Victorian' waitresses in white lace aprons
and lace caps! There is an attractive long drawing room
with windows overlooking the garden, a bar and small
dance floor where we meet after dinner for evening entertainment.
Your bedrooms are comfortably furnished with private
bathroom, colour television, radio/intercom and tea
and coffee making facilities and are serviced by a lift.
Surrounding the hotel are two acres of attractive gardens,
and at dusk, the gardens are prettily illuminated with
coloured spotlights.

We have arranged some delightful excursions for the
holiday so that you can enjoy the best of the coastline
and countryside of this beautiful area of Devon. We
shall be taking a scenic run down to the little town
of Dartmouth, enjoy a gentle cruise on the river Dart
with lunch at the Royal Castle, visiting a wonderful
flower garden in full summer bloom, and venturing into
the wilds of mysterious Dartmoor! We also include free
time to relax with the coach on hand to take you down
to the harbour front of Torquay.
As usual all excursions, entrance fees, and lunches
out at charismatic local inns and tearooms are included
in the cost of your holiday including lunch on the last
day on our journey home.

Frognel Hall is
set in its own grounds overlooking the bay of Torquay
and accessed by a private driveway. Immediately around
the hotel are beautiful gardens, which have lawns, herbaceous
flower borders, and wild birds. The lawn immediately
around the hotel is flat and easily accessed from the
hotel so you can enjoy sitting out in the sunshine or
taking the scented night air. On any free morning or
afternoon the coach will drop you at the flat harbour
and seafront in Torquay.
There are no steps
into the hotel, and there are ground floor bedrooms.
Most of the other bedrooms are accessed by a lift but
there are a few bedrooms that are reached by stairs,
so please let us know which you would prefer. More
