  Accomodation

Treat yourself to a truly relaxing break at the modern, stylish and comfortable Four Star Parkway Hotel, set in it's own grounds.Designed along a mediteranian theme, the large open-plan reception has a real log fire and plenty of comfy soft leather sofas to sit and relax. This is the heart of the hotel with direct access to the lounge, restaurant and bedrooms on the same floor. The lounge also has an open log fire, plus a bar and a baby grand piano for musical entertainment in the evening, and the elegant Ravellos Restaurant leads onto a courtyard with a fountain. Bedrooms are well appointed with en-suite bathroom, telephone, television, hairdryer, and tea and coffee facilities. The hotel also has a beautiful fifteen foot swimming pool, with a sauna, steam room, spa and relaxation area.

We shall arrive by early afternoon, with the rest of the afternoon to relax in the hotel swimming pool and relaxation area or in the comfortable lounge before we have dinner in the restaurant. After dinner there will be gentle music played in the lounge bar.

  Excursions

The following morning after a leisurely breakfast, we set off for a visit to Llancaiach Fawr. This is the sixteenth century manor house, and reputedly one of the most haunted houses in Britain. Here, we are welcomed inside by the Housekeeper, entertained in the kitchen by the cook, and given a tour of the house (while the owners are out) by the other servants! We stop for lunch and browse the little shop and craft centre before a relaxing drive back to the hotel by mid afternoon. Again we have a little time to use the pool, or to sit and rlax before dinner.

On the final day we set off after breakfast, and have a lovely day with a drive through the pretty Wye Valley and Forest Of Dean. We make a stop en-route for a leisurely lunch before continuing on our journey home. As usual, all excursions, entrance fees, and lunches are included in the cost of your holiday including lunch on our journey home.
